Sludge fuzz Melododic ROCK AND ROLL !!!fronted by singer songwriter Aimee Lane with vocals that can tear a hole in your soul -ONEGOODLUNG is a mixture of classic 70's stoner rock and early 90's influenced riffs-muffed out catchy heavy and fucking LOUD-------------- Backed up by a solid fuzzed out heavy rhythm section and haunting psychedelic theremin bleeding in and out with Aimees sonic influenced anti guitar solos that will lead us straight into temptation AND DELIVER US INTO EVIL-
Imagine if you will, staring into the lovely abyss of a loud ear grabbing apocalypse.
OneGoodLung is a metal band based in Austin Texas. After several changes the perfect product is coming into fruition.
Front woman, Aimee Lane does triple duty with rough tough vocals depicting images of doom and evil
that come across as oddly comforting. She's a wonder on the guitar performing both lead and bass.
Complimenting her sounds are the driving hammer of drumbeats delivered by Glenn Chambers with the precision of automatic weapons. Together their sounds and chemistry create a furious sensuous rhythm that seduces the mind and body enticing the listener into movement. Finally rounding out the mix is Blair Bovbjerg, bringing out haunting wailing elements on theremin making it sound all the more terrifying like “ these are the end times let me show you them." But it's all okay because everything in this apocalypse is hot and sexy anyway. Janina de LunaAzul
“The early ‘90s was a time when the all-female loud rock band became somewhat accepted to the average dude rocker. Aside from Joan Jett or maybe Throwing Muses there really wasn’t much else to get excited about. Lita Ford was a shadow of her awesome Runaways self. Vixen? Oh brother. Austin’s One Good Lung puts both leather-booted feet squarely in that L7—early Hole—Babes In Toyland territory, but adds a stoner rock haze and a slightly noisy no-wave tint to it. The overall effect is psychedelic and headbanging all at the same time.”
