Austin Texas Soul/R&B rhythm section The Finest Kind, best known for backing up celebrated Austin singer/songwriter Erin Ivey on her acclaimed 2012 release "Broken Gold," is getting ready for an August 6th release of their own. Recorded live to 2" tape at EAR (East Austin Recording), "Colors" explores a wide spectrum of sounds and influences, while at the same time staying true to the soulful R&B grooves The Finest Kind is known for.
